Although it was announced after its rivals, the Panasonic was actually the first consumer 3D camcorder to hit the market. It's got a 12x optical zoom, and can produce some stunning images. It does have some minor flaws, however, such as an inability to shoot 3D photographs.

Along with the Sony, the GS-TD1 was one of the first 3D camcorders to be announced, and it's a great choice for those wanting to make 3D home movies. The optical zoom isn't quite as long as the Sony, and the resolution is slightly lower, but you'll still be able to enjoy Full HD in 3D.
